As I mentioned yesterday, I changed the way that I am doing my second product creation project. Yesterday I spent most of the day getting everything set up so I can begin working on adding the products to the site. Since I changed my mind about how I am going to deliver the products on my site, I had to uninstall DAP (which only took a couple minutes). I wanted to provide you with this quick product creation update, so you can see what I am doing.
What I Accomplished With My Second Product
I was able to get the site set up, I am using a Woo Theme for the site. I absolutely love the Woo themes because you can customize them anyway that you want. You do have to have a current membership with the Woo themes to access the forum to get some help, however, while browsing the internet I found some great videos that will walk you through step by step on how to customize the Woo Themes.
I was also able to get DLGuard installed on the site. Setting up DLGuard is very easy, yet so many people seem to have a lot of issues with it. I may have to create a video on how to install DLGuard whenever I get a chance.
I also added all the necessary pages for the site. I hate having to add all these pages to a site, it seems to take forever to add the privacy, TOS, disclaimer pages, but since I am selling stuff on the site, I wanted to ensure that I add all the necessary pages.
Whenever you are selling anything online, you always want to ensure that you take the necessary steps to protect yourself. I personally know someone who sells things on Ebay and when she sells items she never has any type of disclaimers and people tend to think that they are allowed to get refunds whenever they want.
I Set Up My First Pre-Built Website On The Site
Yes I was also able to add my first WP PLR Blog to the site. It is a cure anxiety blog and have set up the payment gateway with DLGuard. That is only the beginning as I plan on setting up several turnkey sites on the site.
While the site does not look very pretty right now, I still have to outsource my graphics for it. Since I set it up as a blog, I am just going to get a header designed for it. I usually get all my headers from Fiverr. They seem to do a very good job for just $5. Of course when I get graphics done for a salespage, I will be using a different source. I am not sure how Fiverr gigs work for salespage graphics.
That is all I accomplished on my second product. I plan on spending some time on it today, I would like to get a couple more products set up on it. Now that the pages are set up and I have all the menus set up the way that I want, it should be easier to begin adding products to it.
First Product Creation Update
While spending most of my time on the PLR Blogs site, let me tell you what I am experiencing with my first product creation. On June 20, I outsourced 25 articles to an article writer on the Warrior Forum. She has returned 15 of my articles, they were written with good quality. I had to make a couple changes to them, but nothing major and the best part is that all of them passed Copyscape except one of them.
Anyway, I am still waiting on 10 more articles from my first order. I contacted her and she mentioned a day ago that I would get them, I still have not gotten them. I am not really sure if I should be concerned with it or not. She did give me some of my first order. However, waiting for 17 days for 25 articles, seems kind of long.
I purchased the PLR ATM program to help me get started with the store. I know that Tiffany mentions a reasonable time frame to give your writers when they are writing articles. She was running a special when I placed my order and I am sure that she ended up too much work. The bad thing is that I outsourced another 35 articles from her just last week.
Now I have used her in the past before using her for my PLR store articles. However, I don’t remember having to wait quite so long to get my articles back. I will probably shoot her another email tomorrow and ask her where my 10 articles are since she told me that I would get them two days ago.
I hate having to keep emailing someone that I am paying for. I know that she was running a special, but if she was not 100% certain that she would not be able to get my articles back to me two days ago, she should have given herself some more time. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not an impatient person, but since I ordered these articles on the 20th of June, I do believe that she has had enough time to write them. Hopefully I will get them in the next day or two as I would love to add them to my store, I have not added anything to it in about a week.
How long does it take your article writer to write your articles when you outsource? Share your comments below as I may be looking for a new article writer the next time that I place an order for some new articles.
