I have been extremely busy with school, family and with my online ventures. I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here, I am just not ready.
So I thought that I would create a challenge and post my results on this site.
After all the money that I earn will be used to do some Christmas shopping.
I haven’t flipped a website since I started working on my Flipping Websites course.
However, I thought that it would be fun to post this challenge and share with you my results.
Making $500 On Flippa Challenge
Now before you go and say that $500 flipping websites by Christmas is not a big enough challenge.
You need to remember, that I am busy with school, final exams and project deadlines that have to be met.
So this challenge will definitely take a lot out of me. I don’t want to push it too much.
I figured $500 would be a great target because while it still requires me to work out of my comfort zone.
It’s not ridiculously crazy, that I won’t have a chance to reach my goals.
While I can’t share everything with you such as my Flippa account and the domains of the sites that I flip.
Otherwise, you will just be able to look them up and see the inside of my account.
I will be showing you some screen shots. Yes I know that screen shots can be faked.
I just don’t have time to create fake screen shots. Besides, I have nothing to gain from faking the screen shots.
I’m just doing this challenge to see if I can earn $500 on Flippa by Christmas so I can do some Christmas shopping.
Who knows maybe I will create a video of the sales with Camtasia and just blur out all the important information that will reveal everything about my account.
I can’t promise that I will do a Camtasia video, it just depends on how much extra time I have on my hands.
Two Flippa Auctions Went Live The Other Day
One thing I’ve learned from flipping websites while going to school, is that I can’t really flip more than 2 per week. It just takes too much out of me from trying to do everything that I need to do.
Besides I like to provide my buyers with great customer support and want to ensure that they get their site up and running without any issues.
Which is something that I teach in Flippin Profits Exposed.
Anyway, I spent the other morning today registering some domains and getting the listing set up on Flippa.
As you can see, I’ve blurred out the sites that I set up the auction for.
These listings went live the other night, but once I start getting bids, I will show you the stats and reveal as much as I can without revealing too much.
I wasn’t going to do this challenge, but figured what the hell. It will be fun and besides it will provide me content for my blog.
I don’t really have time to do a lot of brainstorming to come up with content to add to my blog.
Hopefully, these sites sell. But one thing that you need to realize whenever you are listing a site on Flippa, is that they don’t always sell.
While I would love to tell you that all the sites that I list on Flippa sell. But the truth is that if anyone tells you that, they are lying.
What you need to realize is that just because your site doesn’t sell today, doesn’t mean that it won’t sell.
The one thing that I love about Flippa, is that it’s easy.
However, you need to realize that it does cost money each and every time you make a listing.
But if you are serious about creating a business on Flippa, it is extremely possible. Even if you don’t want to do this full-time, you can venture into it on a part-time basis.
You can flip websites to earn money for other projects that you are working on.
You can walk away from it for a while and then go back to it later without missing a beat.
What It Cost Me To Set Up My Auctions?
Now when I talk about making $500 on Flippa, I’m talking the gross profits. If you have ever done anything on Flippa, then you know that it costs money to list a site.
- $2.17 Site One
- $3.13 Site Two
Flippa Listing Costs
- $9.00 Site One
- $9.00 Site Two
