Many people will tell you that you shouldn’t waste your time creating low ticket products.
They will tell you that it’s much easier to create a high-ticket product and make more money.
While it’s true that you can make more money.
However, if you sit down and take a look at your buying experience, you will realize that you most likely won’t buy from someone you really don’t know.
Are you really willing to spend $97 or more on someone that you don’t know?
If the only choice that someone has to start doing business with you is to spend $97, $150, or $500 you’re going to lose out on a lot of business.
Low Ticket Products Are Easy To Create
One thing that you’re going to realize when you start creating your own products…is that it takes a long time.
When I created my Flippin Profits Exposed which was my first real product. It took me well over 6 months to create.
I poured my heart and soul into it because I had high hopes for it.
While it has turned out to be a semi-successful product and continues to make me sales.
The truth is that I could’ve easily created 2-3 products in the amount of time that it took me to create my Flippin Profits Exposed product.
Creating low ticket items do not take very long to create.
While you don’t want to rush through your product creation and start putting out a bunch of crap products, the truth is that you don’t have to go overboard on your product creation.
I have learned that it doesn’t take a lot of time to create these types of products.
The one thing that I strive for is to provide great products that give people that WOW factor.
I want them to feel like they definitely made the right choice in doing business with me.
This in turn builds their trust with me and they will buy from me again.
How To Create Low Ticket Items
Chances are you’ve purchased several low ticket products.
Open up one of those products and you will notice that it most likely teaches you “how to do something in this amount of time.”
So let’s say that you have some experience in how to do email marketing.
You could create an ebook product on how to set your campaigns in Aweber.
You could also go into more indepth on email marketing with tips that can help your customers get a better understanding on it.
If you cover just 3-4 topics regarding email marketing…you now have your low ticket item.
Why Should I Create A Low Ticket Product?
I know what you’re thinking…why should I take the time to create a low ticket item?
First of all, there are several reasons to create a product that is affordable for anyone.
- It helps people get to know you.
- People don’t mind spending $7.00 – $10.00
- It helps you build your buyers list
- It helps you build up your online reputation
One of the things that I’m personally realizing is that these low ticket products are helping me gain the respect of my email subscribers.
I have taken the time to build great products and work on building up my relationship with my subscribers and I am starting to get a good reputation with my subscribers.
Yes it’s going to take time and is going to take more than one product.
However, I can personally tell you that it’s nice getting emails like this from my subscribers.
I love the last product that I purchased from you, I will be the first in line to purchase your new product.
Yes, I would buy it…lol.
Now I know that you want to create products to start making money. After all, that’s the reason that you got involved with internet marketing.
However, what I’ve learned is that taking care of the people who buy from you is much more important than the money you make.
If you take the time to take care of the people who place their trust in you and purchase your products…you will end up making more money in the long run.
I’ve never created an actual business in the past, it took me a long time to realize this and start building a real business online.
I was one of those internet marketers who was always after the fast cash.
I had several affiliate niche sites and hid behind pen names.
I can tell you one thing…I won’t go back to that method of internet marketing.
While I am not against affiliate marketing and still use it.
Once you start creating your own products, you are in total control of your commissions.
Have You Created Your First Low-Ticket Product Yet?
I have been online for well over 3 years and can you believe that I just put out my first product at the end of 2013.
Since then I’ve created 3 other products.
I am hooked on creating my own products.
I am creating an actual business and building a relationship with my email list.
