I know that many people who get started online want to eventually become product creators. My question is how did you choose your niche?
Did you choose something that you are currently doing or did you choose something that you just thought may be a good idea?
When it comes to creating my own products, I am a little nervous. I know that I would like to create my products, but I want to ensure that the people who purchase my products are getting valuable information.
When I was choosing my niche, I sat down and looked at what I was currently doing online.
The truth is that I have done so much online. I have purchased several make money online products and while I am not making a lot online, I do feel as though I have something to offer people.
My main thing is that I am still a little confused on how to choose a niche.
About two months ago when I started my online coaching program, I started writing an eBook explaining the step-by-step method of one of the type of sites that I sell on Flippa.
I have submitted it to my coach to have him critique it and he says that it was ready to launch. I of course have been working on my copywriting techniques as I have never launched my own product and I want to ensure that I know how to write the copy.
Issues I Am Having With The Niche
The only issue that I am having is that I am not making a lot on Flippa. Yes, it has been my highest income earner online. But eventually I would like to focus on creating my own products.
Sure I will still continue flipping websites as it is something I enjoy doing. However, as I have mentioned in the past, is if you don’t flip a site then you are not making income.
Being a product creator, you are creating an asset that will continually make you money even if you are not doing anything. (Sure you have to be well trusted and respected by people, but then that is a different story.)
Another plus about becoming a product creator is that you can eventually have affiliate’s promoting your products.
Becoming An Expert In Your Chosen Niche
One of the things that the coach has mentioned is to go into a niche that you can create more than one product from.
I am not sure how many products that I can make from flipping websites. I can think of two products that I can create right now.
The niche that I think that I can really create more than one product is using PLR to help people online. Right now both of my products are in the PLR niche.
One of them is a PLR store that offers high quality written PLR articles and auto-responders. I am slowly adding more articles to the site, but plan on continually growing it.
I outsource the article writing, as I want to focus on other tasks of my online business.
My second product is a PLR WordPress Niche site, I offer pre-made niche sites that can be set up quickly and easily. They come with premium plugins, I have developer rights to all the plugins that I offer with the sites.
So as you can see, my chosen niche is PLR.
If I was to release the eBook on the flipping websites, does that mean that I have to do another product in the flipping websites business?
I am not sure if these products can all be interlinked or cross promoted?
Do I release it as a one time product and then focus completely on PLR?
Not sure, but I would like to get your opinions. This whole product creation idea is still new to me. Sure I have been internet marketing online for about 3 years, but I did not think that I was ready to create my own products, until about two months ago when I started my coaching course.
