Okay today, July 01, 2013, I wanted to provide you with a full review of the Flipping Boss Coaching Program. I have now been a coaching student for 5 weeks and have already used the method to flip my site.
What Is The Flipping Boss Program?
It is a flipping websites coaching program that costs $300 to join. I joined because I wanted to see if I could increase my profits of flipping websites. I am always willing to keep learning new strategies and I believe that everyone should always be willing to keep learning, especially if they want to excel in their niche area. In my third week of the Flipping Boss program, I spoke about my progress. Now that I am in my fifth week, I feel like I can share a little bit more about it.
The program consists of selling websites without any traffic and getting upwards of $300 or more for them. Now it is going to cost you more money to list them, instead of the $9 to list the site, you will be paying the $29. Of course you do not have to use these methods, but I wanted to ensure that I got the full effect of the coaching program.
My Results With My First Flip
I talked about my results from my flippa auctions on this post. As you can see, I did get a bid of $345 for my auction, however, I ended up spending $180 to get $345. To top it off, the buyer did not even pay me for the site.
I ended up having to file a dispute so they could waive the success fee and hopefully get my featured listing fees back. Well I ended up getting the success fee waived, however, the featured listing fees have to be applied to that same site to be re-listed.
What The Coach Told Me During The Calls
During the coaching calls (which are all done on Skype) the coach had said that “if the buyer does not pay you get your fees credited to your account.” If you choose not to re-list the site, you will only lose the $29 listing fee. Now that is something that I can live with, sure we don’t want to lose $29 because that is a lot of money, but who the heck wants to lose $150 if you decide not to list the site again?
So my point is I am not sure if the coach really did not know what he was talking about, or if the policies at Flippa had changed since the last time he flipped a site?
I would not have paid for the featured listing 3 times, had I known that this was going to happen. I thought that I would be covered and if this site did not sell, my account would be credited so I could use the featured credits on other website flips. Boy was I wrong!
My Dilemma Regarding Flippa
Now I have sent an email to my coach to see what I can do regarding my featured listing credits. After all, he clearly said that we would get credited our funds back and they could be applied towards different sites.
Of course, if he comes back and tells me that things must have changed since he last flipped a site, I guess I will have to re-list that site and use the featured listing credits that I have. The last thing that I want to do is lose those credits completely.
Have You Ever Had To Deal With Flippa Credits Before?
Now I have to admit, I have sold several sites on Flippa, but had never paid for the featured listings before the coaching program. I am now wishing that I never did, I don’t want to be forced back into having to re-list the same site that did not sell the first time.
If you have ever had to deal with this problem before, what did you do to get your account credited with the funds that you paid? I know that flippa does not reimburse
through PayPal, but to me it just does not seem right to make someone re-list a site that did not sell the first time and have to use the featured credits on that same site. We should be able to use the featured credits on any other site that we choose.
So What Is My Overall Opinion Regarding Flipping Boss?
It is a good program, but in my personal opinion it is not worth the money to join, especially if you have flipped a site or two. Now if you have never flipped any sites and do not know anything at all regarding Flippa, it would be a great investment.
The coach does cover a lot of stuff, however, I have joined at least two other coaching programs regarding flipping websites and have invested in a couple of ebooks. (Yes I am always learning, I want to learn how to be a better website flipper). I learned a few things that I did not know, however, it was not worth the $300 that I paid. If you have been wanting to get into flipping websites and want to learn some tips regarding selling the sites or how to write a Flippa auction, you could save your money and just read this site.
I provide a lot of tips that will help you get started in flipping websites. Of course if you do get a coach to teach you (which I am totally for coaching programs) No one wants to spend years trying to learn everything by themselves. Make sure that the coaching program has a lot of great reviews and knows exactly what they are talking about before you sign up with them.
I know that there are a ton of coaching programs available on the internet and you may have joined some in the past. Feel free to share your thoughts on what type of coaching programs you have been a part of. Also if you have ever had to deal with the Flippa issues that I have had to deal with this past week, let me know how you handled it. Maybe you know something that I don’t regarding getting my account credited with the funds that I paid, so I can use them on a different site.
If you liked this review and do decide to choose the Flipping Boss program, I would appreciate it you would go through my link right here.
