Okay, I know that I started working on my products more than a day ago. In fact, if you have been following along on my blog, then you know that I have already set up two products.
What Are My Products
My first product is a PLR store that has 10 PLR packs on it already. I am also waiting for some more articles that I have outsourced, but have not received them yet. My second product is WP PLR Blogs that I am selling. I have purchased several pre-made blogs online. I have used some of them to sell on Flippa, however, I decided to set up a blog that will be selling these sites.
They are all in different niches and can be set up in just 3 – 5 minutes, even if you never learned how to install WordPress. (they come with some great tutorial videos) So if you have not started creating a site yet and don’t know what niche to go into, then I highly suggest that you check out the WP PLR Blogs. They are all set up with the plugins that you will need to rank quickly on the search engines. While you can find several other blogs online, I have set these ones up with extra premium plugins that I have purchased, so I have added some uniqueness to them and made them different than anyone else’s.
Why The 30 Day Product Creation Challenge
I mentioned earlier that I am a full-time student but am on break right now for the summer. Well as the days go by, it is getting closer for me to have to go back to school full-time. My first day of classes are August 19th. While I am not planning on abandoning my product creation or my blogging with John Chow program, I have to face reality.
That is school takes up a lot of my time. I will not have as much time to focus on my online business, with 1 – 2 hours per day to grow my business. It is going to be a big change from what I have been spending on it right now. This is why I want to have everything set up the way that I want it to be, this will make adding products to my sites easier without having to spend time trying to set everything up.
What I Will Be Focusing On
During the 30 day product creation challenge I will be focusing on my two products that I am working on. My PLR Store is already set up. I don’t write any of the articles on the site as I have been outsourcing the article writing projects. So the only thing that I will have to do is check the articles when I get them back and put them on the store. (this is easy and helps me save a lot of time)
Since I already have several of the pre-made niche sites on my hard drive, I will be focusing on adding several of the blogs to my WP PLR store. In fact, this is the site that I will be spending most of my time on.
Adding them takes a little while as I have to set up the demo site and then create a subdomain on my hosting account to set up all the extra plugins that I offer with these sites. I then have to create the backups for the site, using Backup Buddy and WP Twin. Once I have all the necessary files for the sites, I zip up the files and then set them up on the site using DLGuard. I also have to create a post for the new niche sites that I am adding to the WP PLR blog.
So it is a lot of work and my goal is to have at least 20 – 30 pre-made niche sites on the site before I go back to school. Right now, I don’t really mind all the work because I have all the time to devote to it.
I am using this 30 day product creation challenge to hold myself accountable to what I am doing online. I will post updates on a daily or weekly basis regarding my product creation and what I am doing to have everything set in place. I will of course be working on some other things like setting up my auto-responder emails for my sites as well. I just feel so overwhelmed with everything that I am doing trying to get ready to go back to school.
The great thing is that I am building my own products instead of just focusing on just affiliate marketing, which is what I have done in the past. So eventually as I begin to get more traffic for my sites, I will then have more traffic to my own products.
Share your comments and opinions about how you work your online business while working a job or holding down your other responsibilities? I attended school last year, but had a system in place that was making me money without spending a lot of time online. Now however, a lot of my income online has diminished and I feel like I am starting from scratch. I have never really learned how to juggle my school life and my online business, so any comments or suggestions you share with me will be extremely valuable.
